The UK Financial Reporting Council on Friday said that KPMG’s auditing remains unimproved and “unacceptable” for the third consecutive year.
In the same report, the council added that that 29% of all auditing work in the market remains subpar. The report inspected the auditing work of the UK’s seven largest bookkeeping companies including BDO, Deloitte, EY, Grant Thornton, KPMG, Mazars and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
